FMM Malacca Branch is located in Malacca Town. Situated on the southwest of Peninsular Malaysia, Malacca is bordered by the State of Negeri Sembilan to the north, the State of Johor to the south and the Straits of Malacca to the east. It is the third smallest state in Malaysia.

The State is an almost flat or gently undulating coastal plain. The State has three districts, namely, Malacca Central /Melaka Tengah (314 sq. km), Alor Gajah (660 sq. km) and Jasin (676 sq. km).

Malacca can be reached by air, road and sea from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The distance by road to Malacca from Kuala Lumpur is approximately 1½ hours and from Singapore 3 hours. The state capital is also called Malacca. It is 148km from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur and 224km from Singapore.
